For best results, grow Plectranthus fruticosus in partial or light shade in humus-rich, well-drained soil. It can be grown outdoors in the summer months, but will require frost protection in the colder days.  

They are vigorous growers in full sun or partial shade

Grow in organically rich, evenly moist soil. Plants should not be allowed to dry out, but can tolerate brief periods of drought.
